My Story.....

I'm Sarah and I'm glad you are here. I wanted to create a place for people that have had the same struggles I have. To not be ashamed and to know that they are not alone. Who have been at the bottom and not sure they can see the top. I have been there, and the top isn't as far as it seems.

I was an opioid addict for 20 years. I started with smoking marijuana at age 10. Moved on to mushrooms at 14. Shortly after that I was introduced to liquid hydrocodone after I got my tonsils out. The local hospital gave me a lengthy prescription for the liquid hydrocodone after I was diagnosed with pluerisy. I was also dabbling in acid while using opioids. After the prescription ran out I started buying hydros on the street. I was in a car wreck at 18, I was once again prescribed hydrocodone for my injuries which only fueled my addiction. The next 11 years of my life was filled with drugs, near death overdoses, domestic abuse, multiple arrests, prison stints and unimaginable heart ache.

Today I have been clean for 12 years. I have been a manufacturing manager for 4 years and am currently engaged. It's happiest and healthiest relationship I have ever been in. In this blog you will hear the details of my story. If you are here it probably means you have shared some of these same experiences. I want to help you get out of the darkness and achieve the life you have always wanted. You can do this, we can do this together. I believe in you.
